Ecommerce Web Design

I had a chance to work with a software development engineer to develop a user-friendly ecommerce website that guides customers to look for the product they want, as well as helps stimulate the growth of the business.

As a UX designer and an ecommerce seller, I enjoyed the completely ecommerce Web design. Thanks to the experience being a seller, I understand what kind of design can meet customers' needs better. Thus, I participated in developing a high fidelity prototype, user testing, marketing research, and business analysis.

When I was creating the prototype, I concentrated on figuring out the answers to two questions:

1. How can I create a clean interface that can navigate customer to shop at a online store?

2. What kind of design can eliminate the difference between online and in-person shopping.

Home Page

It contains a navigation bar, a promotion message, and brand information. I researched many ecommerce websites and found that the majority of them contain excessive information, for instance, promotion information, which gets customer lost in the home page.

Navigation

It guides customers to the right place by their preference.

Checkout Process

It provides a much easier and clear checkout process for customers to complete the payment.
